November 4 - My Angel's Whispers... a Conversation

Everyday for the last nine months of Shannon's life, she wrote five things that she was grateful for. That small journal became our guidebook out of the desperate darkness of grief. In this next year, Shannon and I will look ahead together... and we invite you to come along. I still don't know why things happen the way they do, but we must never lose hope. In the same way that friends opened their hearts to me, I open mine to you and we'll find our way together. January 1, 2017

Wouldn't it be nice to think that I had something to do with her enormous heart and innocent wisdom? But the truth is, I am who I am because of her... and no matter how much I miss her, or how deep the ache, I wouldn't trade one second of my life with her for an easier path.
